WOW!! I mean WOW!! I had no idea they were all so two faced! Uh.... I missed a step? Who are you talking about? (I can't access the previous link, so may be that's something in the twitter feed?)

They kill off the actors with no real intention of using them again but basically spin like crazy to the fans that they will bring them back.. I don't want Felicia back personally but that was a stunning statement by Singer making it sound like they've asked but Felicia is to busy. Felicia (politely and probably unintentionally) called him out on it. And the Wayward daughters talk when it sounds like they haven't done anything on it. Of course they could be developing it without the characters the fans assume would be in it. Either way, I classify that as two faced. Having one position internally but telling fans something else entirely. The Michaels/Mark tweet sounds about the same as far as trying to placate fans by saying stuff they have no intention of or know they can't follow through with. That's what I mean by two faced. The Eileen and Ruth thing is different. That was just treating character's who deserved better horribly.

Mark keeps on liking and retweeting things about his character or things like this And I saw that Snow got a reply from Shoshannah (Eileen) as well. Still wandering about how Ruth feels. Okay, so, I've been out all day at a local fossil festival and just got back. So, that story about her having another show that conflicted with her role on SPN *wasn't* true?

Not true according to the actress.

The best part is how bad they are at this. Don't lie if there's a high chance of being caught out or called out. People you unceremoniously got rid of aren't going to play along with it reliably and then you definitely look like a jackass.

I'm starting to get a bad feeling, like they're all in "show on his last legs" mode and don't pay any attention anymore. Because they really went in with the social media thing, so I don't think it's a case of not knowing how quickly things can backfire on you... I mean, like I tweeted once to cw and dabb, there *is* such a thing as bad publicity now, and your show trending on twitter is not a good thing if a whole lot of thiese tweets are full of "the reason you suck". I do think they didn't expect Mark to be so open about it but still, if you know that something went wrong, don't go poking the bear! Maybe someone should remind them that for people liable to follow them ,or not, in future endeavors, there's a big difference between a show ending on his terms and with a bang, and a show either canceled or ending in an angry clusterfuck full of bitter and/or enraged fans.

Okay, loving that "TPTB Starter Pack"! LOL! So much BURN, so little life to enjoy it all. Heh-heh-heh. And this is Trump Administration level stupid for Singer, Dabb, et. al. not to know that Mark Sheppard wouldn't go quietly into that good night after being screwed over by them, especially after much quieter actors have thrown shade before. These people are even more unqualified to be in their positions that I already thought they were. I agree, they're in "last legs" mode, they don't care - clearly they don't care - and now it's almost like they're going out of their way to try and f-up the show. And, no, I will have no desire to follow Andrew Dabb in any of his future screw ups, er, endeavors.

After my initial shock, this just makes me sad. The cast and crew seem to be almost a family. Dabb and company are the ones causing the problems it looks like. Pretty sad when the "fake" "ego driven" people ARE NOT the actors. I don't expect the series to last past next season if things aren't handled fast. We may even get a 13 episode season 13. I am beyond sad as I doubt Jensen will do a series again and I will miss the opportunity to watch his acting magic on a weekly basis.

The Scoobidoo thingy is supposed to be episode 16 so I'm reasonably sure we'll get a 22 or 23 episodes season. I don't really know how it works, but I would think that the length and budget for season 13 are already set since the renewal came really early this year. But maybe someone who knows more can answer that. Clusterfuck BTS doesn't always mean end of the show, even if it makes it more difficult for the people working on it. But I think that the contacts between writers and actors are limited. I don't know about showrunners, Singer is there at least when he directs but Dabb? I don't know. Bad writing OTOH, if it leads to bad ratings... Or one of the main cast getting fed up enough to leave but even that is not on the cards for season 13 because contracts.

There's not following future work and then there's avoiding it. Like, I'll follow JA's career and not avoid most of the other actors but the showrunners? I'm avoiding anything they do in the future. Last legs mode, yeah... yeahhhhh. Idk if it's last legs, pure incompetence or just thinking that the show is bulletproof and they can do whatever they want. It's some idiots throwing away a reliable earner that consistently employed people and themselves. you've got to wonder if the Twitter fun points to arrogance or a significant detachment. In any event, it's not a good look. After my initial shock, this just makes me sad. The cast and crew seem to be almost a family. Dabb and company are the ones causing the problems it looks like. The actors seem like the most together people involved by a mile. Meanwhile, Dabb in his first season as a showrunner has torpedoed his own ship, Perez can't be bothered to do any research, the nepotism duo must surely be hammered when writing and lying on Twitter is an issue. In the end it's a sad way for the final years of the show to go down. Not much goes out on top but it's looking like there are real problems with people going on. It's not fizzling or fading, it's soiling itself and falling into a fire. i doubt season 13 will be anything but a full season, beyond that... if Dabb is allowed to continue who the hell knows.

Dean fans mad. Cas fans mad. Crowley fans mad. Rowena and Eileen fans mad. At least Dabb/ Singer are pretty consistent.

While they didn't like his death (or the way he died), they don't doubt that he will be back. Should they go with the lame Altenate!Castiel however.... That would be a blow-up!

J2 are locked in for the season and the show is consistently third or fourth on the network. Another important issue (aside from its ongoing success in syndication and ability to make pots of money for the studio) is that it's the #1 non-superhero (i.e., non-comic book) show on the network and the CW is concerned about relying so much on that genre. Only bad ratings, or a perception of a permanent loss of audience in the long run, will kill this show.
