I know, I know, Riverdale...
Since I started watching it last year, it didn't seem too horrible though funny in it's teenage theme. But I was suprised at how well a lot of the characters were well rounded.
So this season, I actually had a bit higher expectations as last season storyline was pretty nicely well done.
Was I ever wrong, could just be me, but it's truly gone teenageish. (not a true word but you know true)
From the words Jingle Jangle being used more often, the one very sided slant for how stupid Betty is getting with the dark masked killer and not too sure how more stupid Veronica and her parents are getting. And Jughead, yeesh what an idjit this season.
I'll have to say the few moments of when we see the adults other than Veronicas, they at least seem to behave more normal and still well a bit more rounded characters. The teens on the show seem to be all 12 again with their very, stupid decisions.
I'm hoping the storylines will get better, but to be honest, I think this is a dud season.
If this show survives the series cuts, I'm hoping for better story arcs.

I've heard that from people who enjoyed the first season (I only made it about ten minutes into the pilot, then my brother called from Japan and I totally lost interest). Ratings-wise, it's doing pretty well, but it's also being pimped all over the place, so I don't know how well the ratings-vs.-promotion cost is working out. The CW usually renews in that range, though.
