Not that it'll happen, but I think it'll be fucking hilarious if Dean and Sam side with the Alpha Vamp.

I would not put it past this season. Hell, that's what happened the last time they met.

I wasn't sure if anyone had posted the promotional photos for 12.14 yet. I didn't see them anyway. Here's a link.

So, based on the promo pics and the synopsis for the next episode, these are my predictions:
Mary's spiel doesn't go very well, particularly with Dean.
Mary invites Dean and Sam to come see what it is she's doing, Dean declines, Sam agrees, and wiping out the vampire nest goes wrong when the Alpha Vamp shows up.
It could be that in the middle of her speech on why the BMoL are so great, she gets a call that the BMoL need her help when the Alpha Vamp shows up, but I just don't see Dean turning down anyone who needs help, regardless of whether they are affiliated with the BMoL (and I'm guessing the grunts who need help are really Hunters from the US and Canada that Mary has recruited). I especially don't see Dean turning down doing the hunt if he knows the Alpha Vamp is there and that Sam and Mary are doing it. For me, it makes more sense for Dean to opt out of the hunt from the very start before it goes sideways.
Maybe that's just what I'm hoping it is, because I don't want the brothers to be swayed into helping the BMoL by anyone, including their Mom, when they know it's wrong, and we've been shown all season that helping the BMoL is wrong. I'm also hoping that is why Dean isn't in any of the photos of the hunt and not that he's been taken out of it early by a vampire for whatever reason.
I'm guessing that Mr.Ketch talking to Dean in the bunker is either during the hunt as another attempt at recruitment with Sam and Mary preoccupied or at the end of the episode, and it's because he's saying something, like 'The mission was a failure. Mary and Sam almost died, they're with us, and that's why you should be too. To keep them safe or whatever.' I'm hoping that Dean wearing his maroon shirt means that he'll either agree to go on the mission to help Sam and Mary after Mr. Ketch gets a call that the Alpha Vamp is there (if Mr. Ketch is talking to Dean during the hunt), or so he agrees to help the BMoL with the intention of taking down the BMoL from the inside (if Mr. Ketch is talking to him after the hunt). Or maybe because he's declaring war on them? They are also sitting around the war table.

Another promo with again a very sharply dressed Andrew (seriously though )
Again a very absent Dean, just a fraction of a second of a flashback. So hopefully it's like my predecessor said, which btw sounds cool. When did they film this? Was this the first week back. When Jensen called Jared asking if he could do anything. He was going nuts at home with the twins and all. *Edit, so checked Jason Fischer's tweets and yes, this episode was filmed at the beginning of the year when Jensen had a week off.

I wish they let it stick without Dean apologising (yet again!). But this brief clip did give me some hope. Otherwise I was planning to skip this episode. Might still skip live watching and wait to see the feedback before I watch it. And the next one. I can't stand Davy whatsisname!

Truth about what? (for an unknown reason, my pc refuses to play any video since yesterday so no sneak peek for me...) Any luck with this yet? Nope. I'm gonna have to reinstall drivers I think but that will have to wait... ETA : Ok, I just read the interview. I think I'm gonna throw up... So, pretty sure we're gonna have Dean having to apologize *again* because he so so wrong and should listen to "understanding and sensitive" Sam the cinnamon roll...

So, pretty sure we're gonna have Dean having to apologize *again* because he so so wrong and should listen to "understanding and sensitive" Sam the cinnamon roll... Ha. Cinanamon roll. I think for me the article seems to indicate that the show might be going in the Sam and Mary vs Dean route. I don't know about apologies, but I think it's been pretty clear all season that the BMoL are bad news, so I'm hoping (perhaps naively) that Mary and Sam (It'll probably be Mary) will be the ones to apologize if anyone does. It's a little late now for what was in the clip, but basically Sam wants to hear Mary out, because she's family. Dean's not ready, because she's been lying for months. Then Dean gets up to say he needs a few drinks and tells Sam that Sam playing the peacemaker is getting old and that Sam needs to pick a side. I think that's what people meant by the truth.
