Yep, so the entire Colt arc was simply a F you to Dean fans and a cheap way to get Sam kills. Dabb and Singer need to go away.

Pretty much. How this crap made it out of the writers room in the first place, I don't know. This season has had a few good episodes (what season doesn't?), but even they have suffered from some of the issues the more execrable part of the season has.
Come back, Jeremy! All is forgiven!

fudge you, Dabb. fudge you, Singer. fudge you, whoever wrote this stupid episode. You all need to be fired. Bring on the writers strike so this show can have a major shakedown. Berens and Meredith

Apparently, Dean has not yet noticed his mother's photo is missing. I'm thinking that's because at this point, he doesn't really look at that picture anymore. I mean, he used to have it on the nightstand where he could see it all the time, but by the time Ketch found it, it was in the drawer. I mean, it must have been pretty painful to look at a picture of something that Dean now knows wasn't what he used to think it was...

I now think Amara's "gift" was a trick to show him that she is the only one that actually cares about him.

Maybe it's no trick - maybe she really is the only one who cares about Dean, and her "gift" was to show him the harsh reality. Anyway, I was out of the house last night, but judging by what I saw on twitter a couple hours after this one aired, wow, smells like a real stinker. I'd forgotten this was the one that Meredith wrote with Berens - and if what I'm reading is correct, apparently Dean fans no longer have a friend in her. This season can't end fast enough, and the impending writers strike can't last long enough where this show is concerned. All I know is that Dabb needs to be fired bigly.

Maybe it's no trick - maybe she really is the only one who cares about Dean, and her "gift" was to show him the harsh reality. I've actually had this theory for quite some time now. Season 12's been a pretty tough lesson for Dean in terms of who he can count on. And learning (or finally accepting?) that the only one he can count on is himself might actually be good for him, allow him to stop trying to depend on those who simply aren't dependable. It even seems to be working. After all, we've now seen several instances of Dean standing up for himself, voicing his anger or pain, not letting his family get away with lying to him/abandoning him etc. Not that any of this has been intended by the writers, of course.

I don't think Amara has the EQ yet to deliver that subtle a message. That kind of soul-crushing is more her brother's thing. I think her intent was completely genuine. It's just that the writers totally screwed up Mary's return.
Nice Haida icon, Hunenka. Is that...Crow? Who's the artist?

Did the people who mailed to the CW get an answer from TPTB?
Just finished the episode, really feel stupid now that I already asked for free thursdays till may 18th. Because I won't be watching them live, like I did all of them.
The last one I streamed live was, I think, after the mini hellatus.

I was surprised by the 1.40 but I also expected a .4 demo. That's 750,000 people that have tuned out since the premiere. It also seems like every episode is getting people madder and madder. Dabb and Singer might be able to play the "everything is going down" card but it will be hard for them to spin this if it goes down much further. Based on the reaction I have been seeing on this episode, we still might see a 0.4 this year.
As as for writing the CW, I sent an email to Pedowitz and never expected a response. My hope is someone is seeing all the negative reactions and that might help them recognize what a disaster this season has been. It's not the fans fault. We started this season at 0.8 and 2.15. The interest was there. It's Dabb and Singer who are to blame.

Did the people who mailed to the CW get an answer from TPTB? I didn't but I wrote from France, so I probably don't count since my watching or not is not included in any of the ratings, and I don't know where to find the french ratings to see if the cable has the same lows on season 12
