Singer was the director, yeah. He's also currently the head showrunner.

I thought Dabb was the head showrunner. Also, why is everyone talking about Jensen stepping up? What about Jared? I'm just asking. Does he not have the power Jensen does or is that something not in character for him?

Jensen has a history of stepping up when things get off the rails. The first time I remember was with Gamble and season 7. He has also changed lines in the past and had meetings when the script was getting out of control. Pedowitz has commented in the past about how great a leader Jensen is. I don't remember any stories of Jared having to step in on anything but I am not saying he hasn't. Anyway, after the golden pedestal they but Sam on this season I can't see how he could possibly be unhappy.

Not only I can't remember any story of Jared stepping out for his cast-mates at any point, but there's also the fact that no matter how abysmal the ratings and critical reaction to a season, Jared always thinks it's the greatest season and the greatest writing and always excited about what it means for Sam. I'm sure he is a great person, but at times he seems a bit self-centered (Although it may just be that he doesn't want to make waves against the showrunners)

Yes the twitter thing kind of got out of hand. I can see someone being so awful and making you so mad that you post a tweet without thinking. But I have seen him do this at least three times the past couple of years. He seems to do a lot of things without thinking like spoil Cas information, break things and have twitter tantrums. Everyone says he has a good heart and he is involved in charities it just seems like he has poor impulse control and doesn't see the big picture. That's why people look to Jensen to fix the current situation.

I remember hearing it was Jensen that fought for Misha's job back in 7. I got the impression early that Jared takes care of Jared. I have trouble juxtapositioning the AKF founder with the guy that temper tantrums tweets (that he ends up having to delete) that lobby for/demand people without his notoriety or power be fired. Publishing pictures of those working class people in the tweets is inexcusable as far as I'm concerned.I will go hide now. On one hand, people are complex and illogical. On the other hand, I like to call things like that the celebrity lens. Something like AKF can do good for people but it can also get the celebrity positive attention and that should be remembered. It's not necessarily either or but, you know, pessimistic bubble. the twitter thing is just ridiculous and potentially dangerous given the crazier parts of the fanbase. Talk to a manager if there's a problem or complain to the company, don't go posting people on your twitter. His Twitter has definitely had its negative parts. i just want to know what went down and how people involved feel about it.

Eh, guys? Tone it down on the actor-bashing. That never went well on IMdB.
Discussing current rumors about the showrunners and whatever is going on bts is fine. Rehashing vague old stuff about Jared when all Jared has done in this kerfuffle is "accidentally" spill that Misha is coming back is off-topic and getting kinda hostile toward Jared.

It's cool. FYI, Andrew Dabb is now officially snowflaking: Some of the Dean gifs in response are hilarious.

I'm guessing Dabb is talking about the shitstorm since the finale aired.

Maybe if the shit storm is big enough, somebody will do something about Dabb.

I'm surprised Dabb is on Twitter right now. I'm not surprised he sounds whiny.

He's probably talking about the shitstorm.
Though it sounds as though nothing will really change unless Singer goes.
