New topic about S13, maybe a bit more handy with everything going on in one thread.
- Okay, Jared has had a week off and wasn't present these last few days wrapping episode 3. Jensen made a little video saying hi to the assembled fans. This episode is with Jody.
- And now Baby has other plates!!! I thought I saw it in earlier photos but thought nothing of it. But:
Or are those her real plates since it's saying Beautiful British Colombia??

Individual posts about different spoilers here are fine, but I'd rather we not make more than one general spoilers thread. It gets too confusing, especially when an older general thread gets bumped over a newer one. If you don't want some news to get buried, make a new thread about it with a subject heading that gives an idea what it is. That way, people don't have to hunt for it and are less likely to make repetitive threads.

I can't think of a single time in the history of television when this kind of plot worked. I'm sure there are some, but they're exceptions to a rule with some truly infamous examples. This is Coy and Vance, Cousin Oliver, Scrappy Doo, Isabelle getting aged up and turning into a slut. None of those storylines was popular. They all either tanked a show or came damned close.
I have no idea why TV writers continue to write tropes that are clear fails and have near-100% crash-and-burn records. Is it possible Dabb (or Singer) is trying to kill the show off?

What’s happening with Hell now that Crowley’s dead on Supernatural? It’s pretty much what you’d imagine. When one leader falls, another must step up. But the question is: Who will earn their spot in Hell’s throne? (Hint: It might be someone we’ve never met before.) “There is a power vacuum,” showrunner Andrew Dabb says of the situation in Hell. “Into that power vacuum will step a new player for us. Once Crowley is gone, demon-kind and some of our players — some we’ve met before and some that are new — start asking themselves: What is the future of Hell? People come with various different agendas.” Source; ew.com/tv/2017/08/24/spoiler-room-greys-anatomy-supernatural-flash/

Ugh. Probably that last YED we haven't met, yet. Because the previous two worked so well. [/sarcasm]

Even worse, I'll bet it's "I wanted to ax Mark Sheppard so I could get my own characters there and make my mark on the show as the creative genius I just know I am."
Mind you, I've been saying for years that Crowley was way past his sell-by date, but that death scene was just insulting. They couldn't even let Mark have that one line? What the hell? And what about Crowley's obsession with Dean? He'd have probably bailed back through the rift if it had just been Sam there.
Yes, okay, kill him off, but give him a good exit. That wasn't.

And Cass death made Crowleys death/ sacrafice forgettable. Just like Rowena's.
You can't kill 3 of your main/ regular castmembers in the same episode, not like this.
Couldn't care less about Kelly though, her death was to be expected and anticipated. Too bad Lucifer and his son didn't bite the dust.

Whether you wanted him killed off or not, that wasn't the way you treat a name character actor, and a fan fav, who has been with the show since season five. Dabb went out of his way to make Crowley's death as insulting and meaningless as possible. And, yes, onali, killing off multiple characters within minutes of each other was absolutely part and parcel of Dabb's middle finger to Mark. When an on screen action looks, feels, and smells like a BTS childish insult, it almost always is.

Yup, and the fact that the Michael storyline is being given to Mary. The insults just keep racking up. I've yet to hear a single thing that makes me want to tune in.

On top of that, we have yet another EVOL angel played by a black guy. Because that trope is apparently not yet old.
Good guy angel played by a POC? Dead in five minutes or less. Bad guy angel played by a POC? Around for-freakin'-ever doing little more than chewing scenery and then gets a totally underwhelming demise.
About the only thing I think this character is good for is killing off Lucifer once and for all, but I rather doubt they'd do that, since they seem stuck in *that* rut, too.
