Dean and Crowley hunting together is one of my favourite things, so I'm hopeful that I'll enjoy at least five mins of the ep. "THE hellhound." How much sillier can you get?

Gee whatcha know, I'm sure no one saw that coming from about 500,000 lightyears away. Same old, same old. I'd like to look forward to Dean and Crowley hunting a hellhound, but my feeling based on the current trend is that everything we see in the promo is all there is for Dean. And in the ongoing tit-for-tat writing that Perez the Idjit actually admitted to, bringing the hellhound in at all is just so Jared's agent can check another thing off his demand list for his client - i.e., Sam kills the hellhound while Dean ... goes out for ice cream with Crowley? Though if they were really playing by tit-for-tat rules, then Dean should kill the hellhound because Sam already did in season 8 so he could do the trials crap. But I'm sure Dabb isn't considering that one.

To be honest and episode where Crowley and Dean go out for ice cream would probably be a really entertaining episode.

Me too!
Shame they didn't stretch out demon Dean simply to give us Crowley and Dean just hanging out playing table football and darts.
They could have probably spent two or three episodes of Crowley trying to get little umbrella drinks at various dives while he tries to get Dean to go to places that don't serve grease for food while Sam spun his wheels and it would have been gold.

Probably go to Sam, Crowley, Cas, or Lucifer, but I'm really hoping for Dean.

And seeing as how this is a Perez script under Dabb's & Singer's show-running, Sam is sooo gonna get that kill and I will be very surprised if he does not. While Dean will most likely be off somewhere else, on his way or just standing there watching if Perez's past episodes are any indication.

It looked to me like Sam killed the Hell hound in the promo. He stabs at something with the Angel Blade then is knocked back in a light explosion. It seems like they are going to level the playing field by having Sam kill all the the "greatest monsters ever" to make up for all of Dean's kills. So to make up for that Sam gets a yellow eyed demon, the alpha and now THE Hellhound (most vicious monster they have ever faced *TM*).
I still plan on sitting this one out. I think the Crowley/Dean scene will be good but since this is a Perez show it probably won't last long. This will be the third one in a month which is nothing more than the Sam show. On the bright side, I was wrong. Glynn is writing the next episode so hopefully there will be one more good Dean episode this season.

Dean and Crowley together are always good value. As for the rest, I agree, Sam gets the kill blah blah blah. I read a theory somewhere that this hellhound might be Cerberus. Hopefully not an easy kill then. On the plus side, hellhounds can't bore us to death with a monologue
